Powered by two of streetwear’s most enigmatic figures, C.E (Cav Empt) is a japanese brand and the latest creative endeavour of Sk8thing (the graphic genius behind Bape, Billionaire Boys Club/icecream and Wtaps), and Toby Feltwell (Nigo's right hand man in Tokyo for the past 10 years). Named after the latin legal jargon, Caveat Emptor - “let the buyer beware”, and resembling the Conformité Européenne (CE) marking; the brand plays with themes of consumerism and conformity.
